in any event,
words cannot express how thankful and appreciative i am (along with my girlfriend, a brand
new jukes fan, and other friends who were able to come at the last minute) for what you
gals did. i realize that there are many others who were very integral at making this come
together, too, so please see that all others involved receive these words of praise, too.
jukestock was simply
an amazing weekend, and you all made it seem so effortless!!! i know that it wasn't --- i
can't begin to imagine the amount of time and effort you've put into this over the past
couple months --- but to us "attendees", you seemed to pull it off without a
hitch. from the moment we arrived friday afternoon, everything was perfect!!!! you picked
a great, easy location for us out-of-staters to find, and the people at the tinton falls
holiday inn were the pinnacle of hospitality. the ballroom was the perfect, intimate,
setting with it's low ceiling and chandeliers, the sound at all the shows was great, and
the intermediate events (i.e. the raffles, memorabilia stands, sale tables, and meeting
ssj and the jukes) were the perfect added touches. but the kicker had to be the people
there - both the fans and the musicians - who all were so friendly, down to earth, and
just plain FUN!! what a great group of people to finally get to meet and party with for
the weekend. jukestock will be forever engrained in my memory, and i only hope that this
can somehow become a recurring event.
please know that my heart is exploding with the utmost admiration and respect for the
three of you. you are the epitome of what jukes fans are all about, and the three of you
are the reason my friends and i now have a weekend we'll treasure forever!!!
