With the help
of "Vitamin V" and Xanax, I made it through the weekend with a smile. Of course,
meeting all the guys and watching them play was the best medicine. I was even (almost)
relaxed when I met Southside. Everyone was so friendly and approachable. We took pictures
of and with just about everybody.

Since my group (husband, sister
& sister-in-law) came from Freehold, we opted not to stay at the hotel. What a
mistake, we missed all the extracurricular partying. We also, realized that we missed out
on meeting so many fellow digesters by staying "off campus".
So, just when JUKESTOCK 2001 was beginning to feel like a dream that ended too soon, we
got our pictures! We sat around the table laughing and re-living the experience. We had
our photos made in triplicate, so we can all have a set of each. Needless to say, I'm
still smiling and excited. I have my memories, photos, and all that great music from the
past 25 years to keep me going.
Anyway, thanks to LaBamba, Pender, Bobby, Kazee and everyone else who played their hearts
out for us lucky few. Thanks to Debbie, Maggie and Jane for all of your efforts.
Everything seemed to work out beautifully, due to all of your hard work. And a special
thank you to the man himself, Southside, he gave his time and gave his all to the people
who have been with him from the beginning, that says something very special about who he
is.
